All Worth It In The End...Chapter9

I woke up and it was really humid do I decided to go for an early morning swim. And I am not joking when I say early, my body clock was so used to waking up at 5 30 to get ready for school and leave for the bus at 6 30, I was up and ready to go at 6, I was going to be swimming so there was no need for make up as it would come off anyway an my hair would get messed up so all I needed to do was brush my teeth and get changed. That doesn't take too long. I'd spent the previous day in the pool so I decided to spend that day checking out the beach. I left my room and popped a note under the door of my parents so they knew where I was, and then hurried down to the beach. I didn't expect anyone else to be down there since it was so early but just in case I wanted to be quick so I could get a good spot in the sun. As I expected it was empty and I felt as if I was stranded on some unknown island, my towel was the first thing to hit the ground soon followed by my book, iPod and sunglasses before I ran to the sea. It was cold and sent shivers down my spine but I soon got used to it, I hadn't gone fully underwater just yet though as I was not that hot since the sun was not yet out. With that I felt splashes of water hit my back and saw the waves coming towards me. Suddenly someone grabbed hold of me and wouldn't let me go as if they were holding me there for the waves to just fall on me, I tried to get away but they wouldn't let me get away. I knew instantly who it was I recognised the feel of his hands on waist and his breaths by my ears. It was Connor. He wouldn't let me get away and the wave then fell on the two of us so we got completely drenched. I was freezing so he hugged me tighter to keep me warm. We stood there for what felt like minutes or hours even, when really it was about 10 seconds, I knew what was coming he turned me around to face him and we looked deeply into each others eyes. It was then I realised he loved me just as much as I loved him and he moved my hair out of my face. I had seen it in the films jut never believed it would happen to me. He slowly held me face in his hand and smiled before leaning in closely and kissed me. Once, twice, three, four, five times, getting stronger and stronger until I felt his mouth open and his to hue slowly wrap around mine. It was nothing like what I imagined but it was perfect, a moment of true love, under the sunset in the glistening sea of St. Lucia...
