The Mockingbird

Little bird, what do you crave?
Do you wish to see my grave?
I'll show you my death if you want.
As I layd dying in a colorful pond.

Has your little head spun loose,
In my luck, making me your muse.
Have you ever seen me little bird?
Have you ever touched me little bird?

I wish you to lay down the other birds song,
and create your very own beautiful song.
See I know what you crave little birdie.
You crave attention like any other birdie.

Lift your wings little mockingbird.
Lift yourself above being a mockingbird.
You know you could be so much more.
Why make your singing such a chore?

Little pretty mockingbird.
Little lovely mockingbird.
You could be so much more.
