Do I look like a book? Can you read me like a book?
Then why do you only look at my cover?
Don't judge a book by its cover? Take a look under its cover
Take a look in my book
Flip the pages stories unfurl, chaos spins and whirls
Stories of luring deceiving knights, and gruesome battles and fights
Stories of beautiful queens, and wonderfully blissful dreams
Take a look in my book
Full of poems riddles and rhymes, showing such beautiful magical times
If you open my book you may find, stories of such wonders of nearly every kind
If you go through the literate door, you'll discover things you've never seen before
But if you read blind you'll soon find, that you've left a world of me far far behind
And the books never ending, so its end is always twisting and bending
I'm the kind of book, you really shouldn't even think to overlook
Might not have a categorised place, but I'm me with only have one face
Just know that this book isn't so easy to read, you'll only walk the roads I choose to lead
Ripped pages in tatters, so I'll only show what really matters
This book is far to wise to believe again in black inked lies
So if you don't want me just leave me and put me back on the shelf, the stories and words remain my wealth
But if you do want to take a look, I'll be waiting but as closed book
