Cold And Hungry

I'm cold and I'm hungry
I'm all alone
I can't find my mother
Neither of us own a phone

There's no water for miles
I'm feeling weak at the bones
I have no energy to fight
I'm dying out here, someday mum will come home

My sister cries most nights
I have to be strong
For she means everything to me
Without her by my side the days seem so long

Media portrays us as less than another
They bring us bibles, but no food and no sign of my mother
Out here its real, I dream of a place where We don't need to worry
A McDonald's in our town centre.. If we had one.. Maybe I'd order a double cheese burger and a mc flurry...

I have no energy to speak I do wish my mother would hurry
I need food, I need water, my vision is blurry
My sister hasn't woken for hours, I best not disturb her
She needs all the rest she can get, without her I'm scared its my body she'll bury..
