I see your shadow spilling into the hallway, lit by sunlight fringed by the darkness your shadow casts. Suddenly I feel different, a rush of excitement shudders through me and butterflies rumble my belly. I get off my chair and run through the hallway, sunlight blaring and distorting my vision as my body feels a hit of warmth. I see the shadow and I instantly know it's you - the shadow is generic and blurry yet I know it's you. As I near the door with the window through which your shadow shears past my excitement stops and I feel astonishingly depressed. My eyes feel heavy, I fall asleep...again, and there you are...again.
