Bare

ABC's of Poetry

It's hard for me
to share my feelings
let alone bare my
soul
for the whole wide
world to see

But I feel that
I'm ok now
I'm finally comfortable
with me
I feel like
I have found
my place
in this loving
community.

I've had my share
of seasons...
Some good
and some bad
but like the seasons
come and go
they too have
come and passed.

So please as
you're reading
this and other things
I post
remember what
it took
It took a lot
of courage
as I trembled
and I shook

And now to press
send
and allow the world
to see
that I am fine
in my right
mind
that writing is
how I
mend

I don't mind
I'll share with
you
my emotions
