World Of Jealousy

Jealousy is cruel and stings,
It makes you want to take,
But in the future, you'll find out,
It is a huge mistake,
You see something another has,
You want it very much,
Envy in your eyes, you stare,
At the thing they safely clutch,
This thing could be a great, new toy,
Or something close to heart,
Like love or a strong friendship,
Or people who will never be apart,
This is a world of jealousy,
You can't have everything,
But if you want what you can't have,
Don't wince at the painful sting.
