Just Imagine

Everybody thinks that they would like to know,
What the future holds for them,
What lies beyond their everyday lives,
Especially when something bad happens,
They think that if only they had known,
They could have stopped it,
Saved themselves,
Saved their lives...

But,
Just Imagine,
Imagine what life would be like,
If you knew,
If you had to live with knowing,
When you are going to lose everything,
Everyone you ever loved,
Every thing you have ever held,
Just imagine what life would be like,
If you had to live with that weight on your shoulders,
Would it change you,
Would you learn to live with it,
How many pictures would you take,
To attempt, in vain,
To remember everything...

Your memories will always fade,
But pictures can be burned,
What will you tell your kids,
If you knew you had days left,
Weeks,
Months,
Years,
How much would you tell them,
If you knew when exactly when you would leave them,
How would you live with that,
And how are you supposed to remember,
If you never want to miss a thing...
