The Tree we grew with

The tree we hung upon
The tree we swung upon
The tree we adored practically ever since birth.
The tree we stood by when you first held my hand
The tree we stood by when you first hugged me tight
The tree we carved my name and your name
The tree we stood by the first time we kissed
The tree we escaped to, to see one another
The tree we met again after years and years
The tree where you proposed to me
The tree we were apart of all our lives
The tree we grew up with and the tree that grew tall as did we, our lives surrounded it, as we roam the earth as spirits we see the next generation grow with the tree that we once grew with.

People say it would be a great thing that you can go with the one you love to watch Titanic in the cinema if you didn't have a chance to do so 15 years ago.

Life.

There's a love that's fought, Valued and won. There's a man, a woman, And a happy life begun. That dream was real, It was mine. Until you came, All was fine. The thugs locked up, It ends with a kiss.

I love this poem! It reminds me of my tree :)

I had so many trees as a kid. I'd love to go back but I'd probably look like a berk climbing them now! I shall write you a tree poem though! Inspired :O)

thank you so much
