The Man Who Keeps Running

Doctor who?
A question that seems to be repeated all through time and space,
People seem to always question his name, Doctor Who? Doctor What?
No, it's just The Doctor.
You see, a man with great importance doesn't need a name that's common to you and I,
Just a word, one word will do. The Doctor.
As soon as people hear the name Doctor they assume that he is a man that's here to help and fix things.
He does exactly that and so much more,
If you seem to be in trouble,
He will be there, fighting for Earth and many more worlds once more.
But one thing that troubles me from day to day,
Is that The Doctor never gets the thank you he deserves,
Flying through space and time in his not so little blue box the TARDIS,
He has never seemed to stop and take the credit he deserves,
Of saving billions of people from day to day.
And why? Do you ask,
Why would someone save the Earth and many other worlds without a single thank you?
Because he is The Doctor,
The man who keeps running,
Never looking back because he dare not,
Out of shame.
But to me sir you are a legend and so much more,
You need these three words more than anyone in the whole universe,
Thank You Doctor.
