A Lovely Christmas.

And so another Christmas passed,
Outdone itself again,
Smiles, laughter and the lot,
Have far outshone the rain.

I've shared it with my family,
And chatted to my friends,
Cooed and thanked for all the gifts,
I'll fit in with the trends!

Gorged myself on chocolate,
Got tipsy off the wine,
Slept it off, watched movies,
It truly has been fine.

Hugs and kisses all shared,
Photos all day long,
A shame it always goes too fast,
And Christmas ends its song.

But all good things must have an end,
And it's nothing to fear,
For Christmas, it is wonderful,
It comes again next year!
