A tantalising kiss,
And it promises much more,
You draw away, I'm breathless,
And I ask: 'What was that for?'
You reply with short breath as well,
'I kiss because I can',
I look at you and can't help smile,
No more beauty in a man.
'Try again and beat that last,'
I challenge with a smirk,
He raises eyebrows and leans in,
And oh, he gets to work.
I could kiss him all day long,
Would that I had time,
There's so much beauty in a kiss,
It's when we're in our prime.
