I dreamt I was a princess,
I dreamt I had a power,
I dreamt I wasn't useless,
I dreamt without a tower.
I dreamt I had my own blade,
I dreamt I fought for us,
I dreamt I made a difference,
I dreamt I made a fuss.
I dreamt I was an alien,
I dreamt I was displaced,
I dreamt I had the perfect smile,
I dreamt that I was graced.
Yet even after all these dreams,
I woke and still was me,
I didn't need to have a gift,
Instead I should just 'be'.
