Summer sun and memories,
Sweet, sweet lips and daiquiris.
Tan, warm skin and endless sand,
Photographs, we're hand in hand.
August heat and time goes by,
Singing songs; in fields we lie.
And suddenly the heat is gone,
Remembering when the sun shone.
Now it's rain, it's summer's end,
Against the cold we must defend.
Just wait till next year, we'll be back,
The season with what winter lacks.
