Summer Dreamin'

Golden rays, breaking through,
A canopy of trees, hiding me and you

We watch as the sun rises higher in the sky,
We watch the clouds pass idly by

I feel the warmth of the sun's gaze,
Trickling, like water, into my daze

I woke up to find my summer gone,
And I sat there, knowing it'd be back before long.

I am Matt, a london teenager, fanatical sailor and occasional windsurfer. I would like nothing more than to be a writer, poet and novelist when I'm slightly older and I consider myself a jack of all trades (but master of none :P). Join me for my (usually) daily poetry, very occasional stories, songs and shenanigans about anything that tickles my fancy! I always follow back ;)

Missing

Today was a good day. I really had fun. Spent it with great friends. Out in the sun. We just knew what to do. There at Burnham on Sea. Played in the sand. My friends, family and me.
