Watching out the window,
The train drives slowly on,
Landscapes always coming,
And just as quickly gone.
Another day another train,
The summer speeds on by,
Moving round the countryside,
Underneath the sky.
Fresh green grass and flowers,
Air con set to full,
Sitting on the train seat,
Plenty time to mull.
Greetings at the station,
Old embracing young,
Reunited couples brings-
A squeeze to both my lungs.
And there I see my grandmother,
Fragile, with a smile,
She looks at me with pride and love,
And it's worth every mile.
