Part 16

When the next day came my mum dropped me and Alice of at school. Ben immediately ran up to me and hugged me nearly knocking me over "How are you feeling?" he asked, obviously worried about me.
"I'm fine, really" I said smiling. As I walked across the playground with Ben, Alice was with Tyler, people started looking at us. I didn't think it was because of my ankle, it was not the first time I had come in with crutches, and unless the story of what had happened to me had gotten out already I didn't know why they would stare. The reason became apparent when we paced the place where samantha and her friends were standing. "Ben, hey how are you?" she said walking over to us, swinging her hips as she went.
"Fine thanks Samantha, how are you?" Ben answered annoyed already. It was common knowledge that Samantha had always liked Ben and would do anything to get him. "So, who's this?" she asked nodding her head towards me as if she didn't know.
"This is Heather" Ben replied "my girlfriend" smiling at me he lead me off, leaving Samantha in a stunned silence.
