(2nd in The Fourth series!)
A man walked into his large mansion on Caine street, where all the rich people lived. A new person had just moved into the small neighborhood, right next store. He had only conversed with the senior citizen once, but it was enough to make the man wary of him.
Lucas Hudgens, was a wealthy lawyer from a wealthy family. He was never conceited about it, though. He enjoyed people, and couldn't wait to meet his new neighbor with a large gift basket.

The old man gave him a full-on denture smile and invited him inside. Lucas smiled back and agreed, happily. When he stepped inside the smallest mansion in the neighborhood, he noticed the large collection of toys-more importantly, clowns. Dolls, masks, statues, but the Jack 'N the Box was what cut his attention. It wasn't closed-the clown was wiggling slightly, like it was just being played with, but the part that made him uneasy was the bloody knife the clown had.
Lucas's eyes widened, until the old man spoke again."So young. I remember when I was your age. It was an age of lust, heartbreak, and money. But I lost all of it. I was a toy maker-actually I owned my own business. We were famous for our clowns. But this," He shuffled, hunched slightly, over to the Jack 'N the Box."This, was my favorite." The old man got a gleam in his eyes that frightened Lucas to the core.
"Well, I best be going. Got files that need some sorting."

Lucas looked across the street. The old man's study window was right across from his kitchen window, and shivered when he saw the old man gazing at him intensely, once again. Lucas hurried upstairs and undressed and got into his shower. He scrubbed himself of the germs that had gotten n him throughout the day.
Lucas heard a door slam downstairs and he stiffened. He was only twenty-five and lived alone. He quickly got out and grabbed his large towel. He walked down the carpeted stair and into the kitchen. He looked out the window and noticed the old man wasn't there any longer, but his light was still on. He let out a sigh of relief and when he turned around he saw the old man with a cruel smile playing across his lips. He grabbed his hand knife and sliced it like butter into his stomach.
Lucas tried to struggle, with no success. The man then went to Lucas's throat as he screamed in pain and horror. The old man sliced the younger mans neck. Lucas fell to the ground, any coloring leaving his face.
The old man walked off humming the Jack 'N the Box tune.
