The Man In The Mask

I breathe in. Out. In. Out. In. Out.

Heavily.

I turn, to discover the man was not following me anymore.

I get motion sickness as I watch about four or five cars pass by swiftly.

I heave.

I am at the edge of the east side of the forest, almost toward the almost-abandoned dirt road carrying you deeper into the black abyss of the forest.

When I'm done emptying the contents of my stomach, I noticed the red color.

Blood. That's what the metallic taste was. Dammit.

I try to run, but it hurts my chest.

I feel like I just ran around a football field in the heaviest clothing, a thousand times.

I feel like I was just ran over by a monster truck.

I feel like shit.

I breathe in. Out. In. Out. In. Out.

Heavily.

I cough up blood, my chest feeling like it was being ripped out of me, as I did so.

I was getting sick. Getting a cold.

Great.

It was the middle of winter, and I was wearing a mini skirt, which I did NOT pick out. I was wearing a tube top that showed my stomach, which I did NOT pick out. The stilettos I had kicked off my now-bloody feet ten minutes ago, long gone.

HE put them on me.

Pervert.

I heard leaves crunching behind me, and I coughed one last time, before running as fast as I could.

A slight jog.

I made it to the road, and ran into the middle of the street. I knew HE was still in there, and I just refuse to go back. As I see a car coming towards me, I wave my hands crazily, trying to catch the attention of the driver.

The road was surrounded by the darkness the forest consumed it in, and when I noticed the driver did not slow down, I began to panic and jumped to the other side of the forest.

My brow creased, my bottom lip jutted out, and my eyes filled with the salty water that was my tears as I saw the face of the man standing above me.

How did he get here this fast?

I began to kick and scream as he lifts me over his large shoulder.

This is it.

I realize.

This is how I am going to leave the earth.

This is how I am going to die.

(A/N: I was thinking about leaving this a oneshot, but if you guy would like, I'll add more. Just write in the comments, and it will happen!)
