Chronicide;
Killing time with evil eyes
And fingers made from seconds past,
Hands sucking minutes from my life,
Face white and drained, cannot rewind,
To memories of the early hours
When minutes stretched to the horizon
And warning alarms never sounded,
But now, as midnight draws near
And ticks towards the final chime,
We realise the only way to murder time
Is suicide.
