My heart is numb,
Frozen still,
It's movement ceased,
Against my will.
My head is sore,
A bludgeoned mind,
From thoughtless words,
No longer kind.
My soul lays dying,
And deeply torn,
Ripped free of me,
For all to mourn.
My body broken,
By condemnation,
I bow at your feet,
For sweet salvation.
