The Riddle Of Riddles

Chapter Two

I remembered where the light switch was and found it imediatly but it did no good.
"The electric must be off," Scott was the king of stating the obvious "the box is out side, I'll go sort it, you wait here the colds not gonna do you any good" the fear of being alone here left me frozen in place, but before i could voice my fear scott was off towards the door "I'll be as quick as i can." he said before shutting the door behind him.

I was all alone. In the dark.

My mind started racing remembering evens that had happened here...

It was a sunny day the yellow blinds tinted the room making it look bright and peaceful, i was walking around the lounge in my pyjamas with unbrushed hair because i had refused to get dressed. I was playing with my dolls when i spotted the horse statue on the mantle above the fire place, it was perfect for my dolls, it hand a long flowing main and tail and looked like a unicorn with out its horn. I walked over in my wobbly 3 year old manner and tried to grab it. Once i had discovered i was too small i looked around trying to find things to stand on. After running all the way to the bathroom and back to get my step I was just about to reach the horse when,
"Xena Alice Riddle! What do you think your doing! Get down from there at once!"
My face was innocent "But grandma I only want the horsey for my dolls, pleeeease?" i put on the cheesy smile that grandma could never say no to, but...
"NO! Get down and never touch that horse again!" I didn't understand why grandma was so protective of that horse and i never got round to asking her...

Suddenly the light flashed on and jolted me back to reality...
