Truth Hurts
Part Fourteen

-----------Lisa's Point Of View-----------
When I woke up, it was just like he promised.
Christopher was by my side, asleep on the chair.
But the whole night he held my hand.
With my free hand, I traced the features of his face lightly, so that I would not disturb his sleep.
He was so.........
There was no words that would fit.
He was more than handsome..
Probably more like..... Beautiful.
No one could match up to him.
He sighed in his sleep, so I smiled a bit and pulled my hand back.
But he caught it.
"The sigh didn't mean for you to stop," Christopher murmured.
"Y-You were awake?" I stuttered, embarrassed.
"Maybe." he answered, his lips twitching upwards.
I laughed, even though my cheeks were bright red.
"If we could only be like this forever..." he said, closing his eyes.
"Me strapped to a hospital bed and you in a very uncomfortable chair?" I asked confused.
He opened his eyes and started laughing.
We heard footsteps, so we turned to look at the doorway.
There was that doctor from yesterday.
"Miss Selis, you are ready to be dismissed. Take this." he gave me some medicine.
"Thank you." I said.
The doctor nodded and left the room.
"I don't trust him." Christopher muttered, glaring at where the doctor was, just moments ago.
"Why not?" I asked, confused.
Christopher just shook his head.
I was perplexed, but I didn't question him.
I signed out and left.
Christopher drove me home.
Something was bugging him.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Huh? Oh. Nothing, why?" he asked.
His words ran together.
Something was up.
"Tell me." I said shaking his arm a little.
"I just have an uneasy feeling about this doctor and the medicine he gave you."He answered honestly.
I frowned a bit, but didn't say anything.
"How do you feel?" he asked quietly.
"I'm in pain." I responded, honestly.
"What!? In your neck! It's okay, I'll cal 9-1-" he began franticly.
"Christopher!" I sorta shouted.
He looked up at me.
We had already arrived at our house.
"I mean emotionally. So chill."
"Oh." was his answer.
He got out, then helped me get out.
I walked inside, with Christopher right behind me.
"Well, now I need to go get my stuff. Do you want to come?" he asked me, concern written all over his face.
"No. I'll be fine. Just hurry back." I said, but felt an instant pang of pain.
Hurry back. Those were my last words to my mom. No, 'I love you'.
Nothing like that.
Just a 'Hurry back'.
I sucked up my tears.
"Be careful." I added.
He nodded and left.
My throat started hurting, so I went to the kitchen, got a water bottle, and swallowed down two pills of the medicine.
I went to lay down on the couch, but got such a weird sensation.
I didn't know what it was, but I just....
I didn't know..
-------Christopher's Point Of View-------
I packed everything quickly, as fast as I could, just so that I could be with her.
I hurried as I packed, packing everything that I would need, all my belongings, etc.
I came across the picture of us together.
I smiled and put that on top of everything else.
Finally, I had finished packing up the rest and ended up with two huge suitcases.
I hurried to get everything in the car and out of my old house.
I was driving to my new home, when suddenly, a car ran the red light.
