I been walking on this Dark lonely road For so long, trying to find my way back to a place I once called home but am lost so I keep on fighting against the sun
I have forgotten my father's face, and the house I was raised in it's but a vague memory of a place long lost like a cloud in the sky that comes and goes
I want to stop, I want to give up, to scream at the gods and tell them they have won, but I won't, so I move on and I keep on walking on this long lonely road
Leaves fall from the trees like pages from the calendar and this breeze it's but a small relief from this torturing heat that only gets worst as time goes on
The nights are long but the days are even longer and this hunger And thirst that can not be quenched Runs deep into my souls driving me insane
My body it's soaking wet, covered in mud and blood, my feet hurt and I still can not see the end of the path but I move on, keep on walking on this road.
