Back To School #1

I'll be doing a daily blog of how my first week back at school was.

So it's my first day back today. My first lesson was English. Our teacher is really boring and depressing. Her name is Ms Grocott. As our class did out English exam in January we have finished out course. So we have moved onto literature. We were given a pack of 12 poems to annotate with at least 3 points. I didn't do any of it. I managed to do a few in tutor to then find out after English ended it was a waste of time. Ms Grocott hadn't even checked if anybody had done their Easter holiday homework!

My second lesson was Maths. I thought, finally a lesson I will be able to relax in. My teacher, Ms Mann, who was also boring and depressing decided it was time for a new seating plan. Everybody pretty much liked the old one. Like English, there was also a massive amount of homework. 12 maths papers which she expected the class to complete. Majority of of the class didn't. She gave her "reasonable excuse" before the break which was "if you do one a day from Saturday, you'll have five days free!". Yeah a pretty pathetic excuse. That lesson finished quickly due to the amount of talking I did.

My penultimate lesson today was History. The dreaded subject is so repetitive, boring and slow. When you add a teacher who looks like a gothic construction worker this becomes a long, unbearable hour and a quarter. Her name is Ms Clifton. Her name is a good word for the size of the soles on her boots. They're like cliffs compares to the floor. Like all of other my other subjects there was homework. She, being silly, forgot to give me the sheets before the break and she just gave the sheets to me today and expects me to finish it for tomorrow.

Last but not least, my final lesson was P.E. There wasn't any homework. But my good friend Spencer did something hilarious. Well to me it was anyway. We were playing rounders and he was "guarding" first base. When our teacher, Mr Halett, wasn't looking, we'd move the base further backwards. There was a point where nobody would be able to reach the base. The best part was nobody noticed.

I then thought, 'yay' home time. Only to remember I had to catchup and finish off some English coursework which I hadn't finished. After I finished it I strolled home but before I was within 5 minutes' range of my door I popped of to the shop.

Today at the shop I bought: 1x Cola Haribos & 1x Old Jamaica Ginger Beer.
