Deception and perfection are wonderful traits, one will breed love, the other hate.... Or so the song goes
We've all wanted to be something we're not, wether its to be more beautiful, more intelligent, more sophisticated or simply to be more like someone else.
And through the occasional white lie, many of us believe we can be like we wish to be.
But where do those white lies stop.
People create completely new versions of themselves, purely to be "perfect"
Why can't we just like ourselves the way we are?
The answer to that question is simple, we compare ourselves to unrealistic ideals, wether we want to be skinnier after we read fashion magazines or want to be more muscular after watching muscle man III
If We compare ourselves to unrealistic idols, we will always feel bitter and worse afterwards.
You don't have to lie to be perfect, you already are.
