So a person I know joined a club same time as the other members. But she started on a bad foot. Always butting into others activities trying to be the smart one. Always trying to lead the group and annoyingly hypocritical. After someone else joined with the same annoying traits (and her noticing our obvious signs that we hated her) she tried being nicer.
Trouble is no one seems willing to give her a second chance.
Can you come back from a bad 1st (few months) impression?

At least once a day you should read, watch or try something you had absolutely no interest or knowledge about. You'll end up with some fantastically weird hobbies..
You only know who your true friends are in times of trouble. If they stick by you through thick and thin, then treasure and be grateful for that relationship.
I think it's possible. And if those around her don't give her the chance to then they are just as bad. Look at the factors surrounding her behaviour and try to read behind the lines. Maybe she was nervous and felt acting out would get her noticed. Everyone deserves a second chance. We would all want one to if needed :-) xx
