I laugh, I cry,
You comfort, you sigh.
Telling me 'it's okay' was just alright,
To help me
get my hopes up enough for the night.
What am I talking about?
I have nothing to worry about!

No man, good grades, my life's on a good line!
I can't take all the credit though,
You've helped me to and fro.
We've visited hell and glanced at heaven,
Never getting drunk or sneaking out after seven.
We aren't goody-goody though we aren't bad,
We stick as the "norms" though clearly we're mad.
We bounced around in onesies on your birthday,
You turned eighteen, and now I won't be until late May.
I'm not sure what I want my career to be,
But you? You've got your life planned out, so much more organised than me!
We don't stick like glue,
But we can't be too far apart,
You know I'll be there for you,
