Some days seem short, some days seem long, Some days don't want to end... Then we feel weak instead of strong, No longer to pretend.
Good night my sweets. Only dream the sweetest dreams. Only wake to pleasant scenes. Delight in all there is to see. Neglect the things that stay your wake. In hours when it needs to shake.
Oh my heavy eyes. Say bye byes. The lids blink slow. Down they go. My head it lies. Onto its side. My body gets snug. The duvet it hugs. My feet entwine. When it's sleepy time. They cuddle like twins.
The sand mans been now, My eyes are itchy and red, I've gone all floppy, And dreams have started in my head, I'm dozing on the sofa, I'm barely awake, I could fake sleep, Just so I get a carry up...
