Bound

Bound by ropes of ice and night,
Toxin drugged, put up a fight,
Wondered how I'd reach the knife,
Bit the gag that bound my life.

Bloody arms and severed flesh,
Legs together, held by mesh,
Shattered glass upon the floor,
Unknown face beside the door.

Boarded windows, curtains drawn,
Double agent, acted pawn,
Dagger underneath my sleeve,
Dagger drawn, but couldn't breathe.

Sitting by dull candlelight,
Pen writes out the vivid fight,
Trapped within a world of ink,
Bound by ropes of all I think.
