Our Voice

There's no point in sugar coating what we always knew,
This world is pretty much f**ked up, there's 'nothing we can do',
They tell us it's impossible, we shouldn't even try,
It's all up to the government and we're just born to die.

Have they forgotten what we've done, the human race, before?
Do they possess such narrow minds to wave away our lore?
If man can get us into this, then man can get us out,
If man is in a muzzle, tear it off, in headphones, we can shout.

They tell us no one's listening, they tell us no one cares,
But it doesn't take a genius to see what's really there,
'They', the ones who all degrade us, 'they', the ones who think they're smart,
Spreading lies about our future, when they're problems in the start.

It's a little thing called stupid, to deny we have a voice,
And, if we take it all for granted, we might, one day, have no choice,
So, stop it, putting yourself down, we have a choice, get on the bus,
For, in this world, no matter what they say, the strongest group is always

us.
