Tambourine Soul

Metal, acid, ice and fire,
Sugar, steel, a churning pyre,
Words, across, to the town crier,
Lier, lier, die desire.

Wringing fingers, woven hands,
Cup tears that fall like camber sands,
The heart drums butterflies in bands,
With broken wings and cold commands.

Rainbow Rain

A million drops fall from the sky. Some glitter green. While others are purple. Or violet in sheen. A drop of crystal blue. May be regretful and sad. Just as a drop of orange.

Cinnamon

I smell sweet cinnamon swirls, Swaying in the sand. Softly singing songs That I can't understand. Sweet cinnamon swirls, Saying simple sorry's. Softly singing songs That take away my worries.

Paint It Grey

Beat back these colors from my sight. I care to see them not. Yet vibrant hues of stubborn spring. remain. Spring's song my soul forgot. Beat back these colors from my sight. Discordant to my eye.
