"Love yourself." -Ahron Park
I was joking around at lunch table today and I made an inappropriate comment about cutting myself as a joke, and my friend Ahron said "love yourself." Of course, he was half joking with me, but the words kind of struck me. Those simple words held so much truth and meaning to them. I always had a problem since I was very young with my appearance and such, and when my friend said that, I guess I remembered all those nights I spent crying over nothing. It was a bit of an Epiphany. I had realized this a while ago, but what he said reminded me of what I should always remember: I should be fine with who I am because I have friends and family who love me. I wouldn't trade that for anything.
