People Who Need To Dub Others Will Silly Social Group Names.

I hate people who feel the need to label another! for years I was called emo, goth and such all by people who claimed to be honest and nonjudgemental. Why do people feel the need to be part of a social group and to force others into a clique? why can't I just be me and not part of your social construct? why do you feel the need to name me like it's your life mission? I don't feel the need to be part of anything, I prefer to be the neutral party.

Agreed.

They do it because they feel like they need to belong somewhere... because idiots can't survive without a pack of fellow idiots beside them!

I don't get how people can't survive without a pack of friends behind them, the only place in my opinion you should feel like you have to belong is with your family, or a small circle of friends that feel the same way and don't feel the need to be labelled.

It's not entirely a bad thing, I think it's just that a lot of people are bad at dishing out labels.

It may not be a bad thing, but it will give you a bad reputation if you're forced into a group you don't want to be a part of and small minded people will never let it drop that you were in said social group.

Like if you go around dressing and acting exactly like people from a certain social construct then I'd probably be justified in saying that you belong to that social construct. But most people label people incorrectly, like thinking that wearing black automatically makes you an emo or somethin.

Yeah I get what you mean :3

Thats one thing that gets me, just because you dress a certain way instantly makes you part of that group. I dress in all ways just depends on how I feel on the day.

Oo actually I agree I think it's too hard to label someone correctly because it's never a simple issue, so it'd be safer not to bother. But I still like to encourage people to be themselves rather than feeling the need to tag along with others, which is the only reason I'd bother with labels in the first place.
