Pain, Take It Away

I'm sitting in my bedroom, asking questions,

"Hey, have you seen me lately, because you really don't know.

Tell me, tell me one thing that you haven't heard from someone else about me."

And we would sit in that air of tension, wondering where we went wrong.

And your answer was the one thing I told you, but never thought you knew.

"You love to watch me sleep, see me breath in, and breath out. The peak of my beauty, at that point between life and and my dreams, the happiest moment, a total euphoria of my own making. You loved to watch me sleep."

So now we stand in this rain and I ask questions,

"Have you seen me lately, because I really don't know.

Tell me, tell me one thing I haven't been told about me, something they haven't somehow found out."

And we stood in the rain, all the sorrows of a man who had lost it all washing away,

"You love to watch me sleep, see me breath in, and breath out. The peak of my beauty, at that point between life and and my dreams, the happiest moment, a total euphoria of my own making.

-You loved to watch me sleep.

Reminiscence

We remember, in order that we might forget. Reminiscence is a tricky one, that old time companion of loneliness, who sneaks up upon you as nostalgia fills the recesses of the heart again.

Rain pitter-patters down like the stepping of a child's feet. Translucent reflections of things that are now but a memory. A forgotten world where dreams meant something.

What Is, What Was

Standing on the edge The light coming out from behind me And the darkness before me The stars. The normal bright array of them Now forgotten behind the murky haze of the cloud filled sky The moon.

..Sigh..

It seems like trouble is brewing, which always makes me frown. When shadows engulf our minds and throw away our crowns. When something happens, it fills everyone with rage.

Rain On The Brain

They say the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain. But the rain Round here falls mainly on my brain. Soaking through my head saddening my mind. Back in the house, heating on,close the blind.

Quiet

Something's not right. Something's a miss. It's just like. Someone's taking the piss. Can't put my finger on it. But it seems to have lost its shine. Just doesn't feel the same.

I Want.

I want to see what I look like through other peoples eyes. I want to see if they can see what lies beneath. I want to see if they can see what I'm hiding.
