Sorry for the delay peeps, I've been busy and when I haven't I've been unwell.
Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who wished me luck for the creative writing competition I entered. The open mic night was last Friday, it was such a special and inspiring night and I wouldn't have minded if I hadn't but I was one of the five winners in my age category out of the over one hundred entries!! It felt so nice to read my poem aloud and have that applause afterwards, it's so rewarding, and it feels nice to know that others appreciate your work.
LOVED it and I now have a certificate and a £20 Waterstones voucher... Such an achievement in itself for even making the shortlist let alone being one of the winners and I'm SO happy as you probably can tell!! Eeeeeeeeee
