It goes on and on,
The moaning of the people
No matter how then sun hath shone
Dark remains the steeple
'Run, run,
'Run away my son!'
But I knew even little he
Would soon no longer be.
'Crush him, bind him!'
My people yelled and screamed
As I saw the torches all but dim
The rebels did the deed...
