-Taking a stand for what many people in this world (however logical) all want to believe in really. (Or maybe it's just me...) -
There is still a place
Where newts don't have eyes.
A place where rats don't have tails,
And witches still take to skies.
But that world is dwindling,
As the magic dies out.
Replaced with technology,
And orange girls pouts.
What I'd give to have that fantasy back.
To believe in such things again.
But the world has grown up so fast,
And to my creativity and heart it brings pain.
For these places now
can only be found
In pages and pages,
Glued and bound.
But not in the hearts of people see,
We're all to busy to wonder
"what could be?"
So take me back to those glory days.
When witches, Druids and fairies were real.
I no longer wish to stay,
In a place where creativity is instantly killed.

-I've also noted I've written a lot like this lately, suppose I just find fairy tales inspiring-
