To An Ex Friend

When did you start wearing ear plugs,
To all the words I say?
Was it months ago?
Mere hours, or long days.
Did I really start to bore you?
Or did you just forget to care?
It's too late. It doesn't matter now.
My feelings have been laid bare.
Come and find me when you want me.
My body and mind and soul.
I'm not just someone who'll come running.
I'm not a dog you can order to roll.
I'm a person with true feelings,
And I showed everyone to you.
But I guess they was not good enough,
And with that, there's nothing I can do.
