Wishes

I wished to be a bird,
So I can fly and travel.

I wished to be a stone,
To be hardcore and numb from all the pain.

I wished to be a pen,
So I am free to write whatever the fuck I want.

I wished to be a singer,
For people to listen to and to bring joy.

I wished to be a camera,
To keep a perfect moment still.

I wished to be that taste in your mouth,
So I can linger on.

I wished to be that first kiss you had,
Cause it's the one that you'll remember.

I wished to be the last kiss you'll have,
Cause I want you to remember.

I wished that I was hope,
Cause hope's stronger than fear.

I wished that I was love,
Cause it's stronger than evil.

I wished all these things till
It came to a point that I've gone tired of wishing
For things I already have and know.
Now, I wish everyone knew what I wished before.
