Chapter 28

I walked into Mr. Coal's room for advisory. I sat down in the back of the room and through my backpack in the chair next to me. Soon everyone was there, but Mandy and Gianna.
"Where are Mandy and Gianna? Are they here to day?" Mr. Coal asked.
"Yeah, I think their in the bathroom." Sindy replied.
"Ok, so you all know semester two will start on Friday." Mr. Coal started.
"When will we get our new schedules?" Allyson asked.
"Probably Tuesday." Mr. Coal said.
"How will we know where to go Monday?" Danny asked.
"We aren't having school on Monday, it's Martin Luther King day." Mr. Coal explained. Then started to talk about Martin Luther and what he did. I got bored. I rested my head against the wall and closed my eyes.
I fell asleep and found myself in a tall building. It had four yellow walls covered with paintings. The paintings were of bananas. All different kinds of bananas, big bananas, small bananas, square bananas, and even rainbow bananas. There were a bunch of banana people walking around looking at the paintings. Then one of the banana people walked up to me and poked me softly.
I woke up to Allen poking me softly.
"Don't wake him!" Danny hissed at Allen.
"Too late." I yawned and stretched.
"Are you ok? You have been quieter than usual." Mr. Coal said with concern in his eyes.
"He's having girl problems." Mandy laughed.
"When did you get here? And no I'm not. I just have nothing to say." I say with annoyance in my voice. Mandy thinks she knows everything.
"I've been here the whole time." Mandy laughed and shrugged. "And what about Rainy?"
"Rainy?" I frowned. I have been talking to Rainy lately, because of this science project I have to do with her.
"Ok, Mandy leave him alone. I turned back to Mr. Coal and slowly closed my eyes again.
