Chapter 4
A few days after the first day. I don't see Allen, Danny, or Pikachu much. Me and Pikachu only have two class together, three on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It was 5th hour, one of the hours I have with Allen, Danny and Pikachu. I sit in front of Pikachu and the curly hair girl, whose name I found out was Allyson. It was helpful to sit in front of them, I would turn around and ask Pikachu if she knew the answer to a homework question and if she didn't know normally Allyson did. I was working on History homework that I had to get down because History was next hour. What is Humanism? That question I couldn't the answer any where in the book. I turned and looked a Pikachu. She was reading Mockingjay with her folded looking up at the clock every now and then. I slowly push my pencil in to her arm. She look up at me.
"Do you know where question eight is?" I whispered, because Mr. Gerrtsmi doesn't want us to talk unless we are working together. I would love to work with Pikachu, but I'm always afraid that she would say no.
"It's in the first paragraph. Didn't you read it?" Pikachu whispered back, she smiled and looked amused.
"I guess not." I smiled back and she laughed.
"Jacob stop flirting and do your homework." Mr. Gerrtsmi said, his voice made me jump.
"Sorry!" I apologized and turned back to my work. I could hear Pikachu trying not to laugh. A few minutes later Mr. Gerrtsmi dismissed us and me and Pikachu walked beside each other to our lockers which are right next to each other. It can be a problem sometimes because I'm always in her way, but she just laughs and gets her stuff.
"Agh! We have history next." I complained.
"I like history." Pikachu said going through her backpack to find her stuff.
"Yeah, but your good at it. Your awesome." I said, she blushed and walked to history, but got stuck behind a bunch of slow people. I got to the classroom before her. We both have history together. I sat down next to Amy, because of the siting chart. Soon Pikachu came in and sat next to Jeremy. The late bell rang and Pikachu was staring out the door as the few tarty kids walked in. She looked at them and then looked back through the door as if she was looking for someone. Then Mrs. Kemp, the history teacher, shut the door. Pikachu turned her head to where I sit. I raised my eye brows at her and she quickly looked back at Mrs. Kemp.
"Today we are making rule for the classroom, everybody get into groups of four." Mrs. Kemp said and everybody started to get into groups. I stayed where I was, Amy left to her friends. Jen came and sat next to me. Pikachu walked towards me, then saw Jen and walked towards her friends instead.
