Chapter 39

The next day was Friday. I arrived at school at the end of third hour, because I didn't feel well that morning, but my mom made me go anyways. I waited in the office until third hour was over. Then I went to Mrs. Sinco's class. We had a vocabulary quiz, which I didn't study for. It words like colloquy and digress. I probably failed it. Then we read Romeo and Juliet. It's that bad of a book, besides the fact I can't understand half of what they are saying. Then came lunch. Normally I have leftovers from dinner, but this time my mom sent me out of the door before I could pack my lunch, so I'm stuck eating school lunch. I got in line behind Patrick the senior. I'm friends with a lot of seniors. We started talking, he told me that someone stole Mr. Cole's phone and that the police was there. I asked in they know who took it, he said he thinks it was a freshmen. I got a piece of pizza and an apple. Then I went to find Tara. I found her in Mrs. Sinco's room, with Milly.
"Hey." I said as I walked in the room.
"Hey Jake." Tara said as I sat down. I started to eat my pizza.
"Hey you play piano, right?" Tara asked me.
"Yeah." I said and looked up from my pizza.
"Well Milly was trying to learn it, maybe you could teach her?" Tara suggested, I hadn't taught anyone before, but how hard could it be?
"Sure, tomorrow meet me in Mr. Luccanbird's room." I said, Luccanbird is the music teacher, so he has a piano in his room.
