Chapter 19

The next at Sixth hour I got to sit a chair away from Pikachu, this time I didn't sit by Sofi, Pikachu was the closest person to me. Today Mrs. Kemp wasn't there, she is almost never there, so we had the only substitute teacher at our school, Mrs. Postey. Mrs. Postey is short with curly gray hair, like an afro. Today we had to have our notes done before the end of class, though it didn't matter if you did, Mrs. Kemp won't check. In the middle of class I started to get bored. I tried to kill an annoying bug, but I think I was annoying Pikachu, because every time I clapped my hands to squish the bug, she would look up at me, though she did look like she was having a hard time not laughing.
"Hey Jake!" Mandy called from the other side of the computer lab. I looked at her. "Are you going to the game?" I shook my head no. "Why not?"
Before I could answer her Mrs. Postey told Mandy to be quiet. Then when Mrs. Postey was busy with Jen, I started to look up jeans at Hot topic's homepage. They have some nice jeans. Then Mrs. Postey was walking around looking at our screens, I quickly opened up Google docs again, that's where my notes are. Then she stopped at Pikachu's computer.
"Aww they're cute." Mrs. Postey smiled and then kept walking.
"I want to see." I said and walked over to her computer. There was a picture of a bunch of labrador puppies. "Are they yours?"
"No, I found them on the Internet." Pikachu said and exited out to show me the same puppies as her screen saver. "I finished and got bored."
"Yeah, I'm bored too." I walked over to my computer and turned it so she could see the hot topic jeans. "I've been looking at hot topic."
"I love hot topic! That's were I get all my Pikachu stuff." Pikachu said.
"Yeah, inside the store is creepy, but they have nice jeans." I said, Pikachu nodded and turned back to her computer.
"Ok I'll be right back behave while I'm gone." Mr. Postey said and walked out of the room.
"I have something to say." I announced as soon as she was gone. Only a few people looked up, Pikachu was one of them. "Don't you guys think it's weird that Mrs. Postey is white and has an afro?"
Pikachu laughed and quickly looked back at her stuff.
"Sam! Mrs. Postey has an afro." I called to Sam, who was across the room.
"Yeah, bro!" Sam called back and Mrs. Postey walked in. I hope she hadn't heard. She didn't say anything, so she must not have.
