Chapter 6
The official looking man walked her out of town, and into the forest. There she was put in a gold and red velvet carriage with plush cushions that seems all too go to be true. She was sat opposite a tall man who looked around thirty.
"Let me go!" she demanded once more.
But the man merely chuckled, and ignored her. She eventually fell asleep, though she didn't know when.
On waking up, she discovered the strange man was gone, and she had the carriage all to herself. She decided that they meant her no harm, but if she did have to escape then she could just jump out the sides of the carriage. Oh, they were locked. And there was an escort of seven guards either side of the carriage. Suddenly it felt more like a prison than a carriage. She had been lulled into a false sense of security. The guards opened the doors, and she tried to run away but they were ready for her. With grips of iron they held her tight and pulled her towards a large mansion like building. She still had a bad feeling about this.
She was lead into the large building, and escorted into a dinner hall. There, at the end of the table was the strange tall man.
"So pleased to see you, Amiee."
