Animal Innocence

We have something that they want
A vicious attack we cannot stop
Their red eyes view us as a threat
So they sentence us to death.

They use every part of us to see
Their own immoral anatomy
To satisfy their hungry needs
And leave us pleading at their knees.

But they have people to destroy
We are used solely as a decoy
To prevent a human tragedy
That the government doesn't want to see.

But war is taking place everywhere
They don't seem to be fully aware
Their "protection of the human race"
Does not seem to be the case.

A minority of their kind give
They know we are beings that want to live
They break the rules to set us free
We can only see them as godly.

Although we are subjected to unthinkable acts
We just want them to know the facts
We do not want to hurt our oppressor
We just want to stop the terror.
