Salvation

Lost all hope, left in despair,
My life had been pulled down from up in the air.

No light in sight alone in the dark,
With no prospect to have some lark.

But the day I climbed up that cliff,
The sight I saw made me still.

The sunlight creeping through the trees,
illuminating each leaf with its own sense of glee.

Each on line with its own light,
The leaves were a symbol of immense might.

My nostrils were filled with the fresh invigorated smell,
Weather this was the almighty himself I couldn't tell.

This godlike perfection left me in a maze;
Omg was I stuck in a daze.

God had pointed me towards that sight,
He said, " Go, there's your light."

As time flew my life changed,
For a better life I had exchanged.

A life that had no meaning,
Like those leaves inside a fire burnt,
to fulfill my ambitions with everything I had learnt.

Inspired by those leaves I had seen,
To change myself I was keen.

What more can I say,
I still remember that day,

When God showed me a revelation,
For that was my salvation...
