Life And Time

I'm staring blankly at the wall,
Thinking of times I left,
Like shadows on the floor.

A face, a name, a life gone by.
Still more of us each day,
Are sure enough to die.

Time is going by so fast.
You played your scene,
Now it's the final act.

Lost in this universe it seems.
Time has shattered lives
And ripped apart our dreams.

I listen to all the world around.
Seems that all of life is
Slowly spiralling down.

And through our lives
Time disappears.

A lost invention of a
Voice that no one hears.

Time is going by so fast.
You played your final scene,
The curtain comes down.

Into the universe time flows,
Along with memories of ones that you held close.
