A new page, a fresher summer. Sand glows golden the sun still shy from the waters, the sun still shy from the waters to sink nakedly into it. Memories consumed the sand resurface as I dig my toes smiles and tears buried beneath. literally digging them up. I wonder what sorrows this water has seen; which lovers holding hands walked imprinting their footsteps it consumed. Which smiles it reflected, snickers its echoed and tears it absorbed to be one with. It seems tired today. the waves trickling onto the sand beneath as though forced; just for the sake of it accompanied by the oh so familiar salt smell feeding off it. Mountains silhouette in the distance almost one with the air. Hadn't noticed that before. I wonder if it has a similar story to as these heartbroken waves today. Toes in the sand I write to you again my fellow readers. Little boats effortlessly floating one more, children's screams mixed with giggles all around. Fishers too concentrated to notice the beauty tickling their lips and eyelashes begging to be seen, begging to see a smile to save the painful days it's witnessed, rocks disappearing in the tide. Can't help but notice the rare soothing smile creeping up onto my salty lips.I know I'm back; back to the sea, back to summer smells back to my words but most importantly back to myself. With love to you all....
