"Mercedes!" I grabbed Roy's wrist and ran to my cousin.
"Oh, hey Kate."
I was about to scold her when she interrupted: "Kate, thanks so much for setting me up with Cam. He is... handsome, you know. He even-"
"Shut the hell up!" I said. "Now, I know I'm crazy, but I'm going to kill you if you keep on... Doing stuff. With Cam. I mean, yoy can be friends, but stop touching each other!"
"Why?" Mercedes asked. "Are you jealous?"
"I've got Roy." I glanced at Roy, who wasn't paying attention, gazing far off.
Mercedes sighed and walked off.
"Kate," Roy said. "I was thinking..."
"What?"
"Erm..." he shuffled uncomfortably. "I won't tell you this if it ruins your mood, but..."
"Just tell me," I snapped impatiently. Roy stopped fidgeting and looked at ms straight in the eye.
"Well, to be honest," he began. I could sense his tension. Was he about to dump me?
"Will you be my partner in the Valentines Dance?"
I smiled. This was nothing to be scared about.
Suddenly, Harvey, another boy, came up and declared, "Sorry, Roy, but she's mine."
"What?!" I looked at Harvey. He's been acting like this ever since he visited my house. Like an overprotective prince.
"Kate?" Roy looked at me. "Who are you going with?"
"I don't know, I gulped, desperately. I wanted to dance with Roy but I couldn't bear breaking Harvey's heart.
Freaky, huh? Especially when Roy starting fighting witg Harvey. And what's happening between Cameron and Mercedes. Just wait till I get my hands on those four.
